Tip from the bartender

Red vermouth, a fortified wine made with red wine
and botanicals, adds a rich, aromatic layer to cocktails. With the rise of the craft cocktail movement and the trend for low-alcohol drinks, vermouth is gaining popularity. Sweet vermouth is also an excellent digestif thanks to the herbs that support digestion. In this cocktail I used the Belgian aperitif ‘Midi Red’. Although it is not a classic vermouth, the botanical complexity perfectly matches the taste experience.

THE SECRET WEAPON OF THE COCKTAILWORLD

Every great cocktail has a secret, a small detail that brings all the flavours together. For many mixologists, that secret lies in just a few dashes of bitters. Made from carefully selected herbs and spices, bitters add depth, balance, and an aromatic edge. At Yugen, we love how their herbal character blends seamlessly with our kombucha’s natural taste, creating drinks that are alive with complexity yet refreshingly simple.
