Soda used to be functional

Soda used to be functional

SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY, SODA LOST THE PLOT

It used to mean something. Real ingredients, real botanicals. Soda had a job to do: refresh you, settle your stomach, wake you up. It was functional, in the actual sense of the word.

Then the industry discovered it was cheaper to fake all of that. Extra sugar. Flavouring concentrates. Aromas and preservatives. The result is a shelf full of drinks that promise everything — energy, focus, gut health, joy — and deliver carbonated disappointment.

You've read enough labels to know the difference between "natural flavouring" and actual ginger. You're not asking for a drink to save your life. You just want one that tastes good, does you some good, and doesn't spend the whole can talking about how good it is.

SO WE WENT BACK TO THE START

Yugen began in 2016 as a kombucha brewery in Ghent, working from the same idea that used to define soda: real ingredients, doing a real job. That philosophy inspired Super Soda. Same Yugen values, different drink.

WHAT IS SUPER SODA

Soda, stripped back to what actually counts: pure juice, real botanicals, and gut fibre. Lightly sparkling. Low in sugar. Flavoured the way people have been doing it for centuries — nothing lab-made in sight.

All killer. No filler.
