The story behind 'Shrooms Paradise'

“I’ve been a big fan of Yugen for a long time,” Joëlle said, “so getting the chance to actually visualise a flavour was really interesting for me. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to fuse a strawberry with a mushroom. I connect that mushroom shape to a scoby, so that element was clear right away. But the rest came together quite spontaneously. The ‘Strawberry Basil’ flavour gave me this sense of sweetness, playfulness, and even a kind of sensual energy. The mix feels almost like an aphrodisiac, so I knew I wanted a mysterious, sexually feminine presence in the artwork. That’s how the nymph-like figure emerged.”
