Somewhere along the way, soda lost the plot.

It used to mean something. It had a job to do: refresh you, settle your stomach, wake you up. It was functional, in the actual sense of the word.

Then the industry discovered it was cheaper to fake all of that. Artificial flavourings, extra sugar, preservatives. The result is a shelf full of drinks that promise everything — energy, focus, gut health — and deliver carbonated disappointment.

You've read enough labels to know the difference between "natural flavouring" and actual ginger. You're not asking for a drink to save your life. You just want one that tastes good, does you some good, and doesn't spend the whole can talking about how good it is.

So we went back to the start.

Yugen began in 2016 as a kombucha brewery in Ghent, working from the same idea that used to define soda: real ingredients, doing a real job. Super Soda follows the same philosophy. Different drink, same Yugen standards.

Soda, stripped back to what actually counts: pure juice, real botanicals, and gut fibre. Organic. Low in sugar. Flavoured the way people have been doing it for centuries — nothing lab-made.
