GINGER LEMON

Philippe Lantoine is a respected artist with roots in the tattoo industry

Under the alias Gummy, he let his artistic mind take over to create masterpieces on skin canvases. In a world where even art is fast-paced and nerve-wrecking, he tried to slow things down and return to the core of creativity by creating his own style. His handpoked tattoos consequently combined different elements of modern and traditional tattoo art.

The story behind 'the Rooster O'Clock'

Philippe Lantoine explains: "Yeah, that one wasn’t a coincidence. We wanted the design to feel like the flavour. The proud cockerel standing tall as the sun comes up. It’s that feeling of a new day, full of energy and optimism, just like Ginger Lemon. The bright yellows, those flowing lines, they all bring that natural warmth and vitality. It’s about the connection between humans and nature, something that’s at the heart of everything Yugen stands for: organic ingredients, mindful living, and caring for the planet. And maybe,” he smiles, “there’s even a little wink to Japan in there, the Land of the Rising Sun. But I’ll let people decide that for themselves.”
